Campers, it’s time to celebrate summer! This week, #CampCaribu welcomes sunshine, long days, and special moments with friends and family. Get ready for stories about fun adventures in the outdoors, from cities to seasides, food trucks to fairytales. You can also try the summer drawing pages in the Caribu app, and color with a (grand)child on a Video-Call! Even if it’s not summer where you are, this week’s books and activities will warm your heart wherever you read and play.

On the homepage, you will find a reading log to download and track the books you read together each week. You also will find discussion questions, art activities, and more. Check the schedule every day to get the most out of your camp experience.
On the calendar this week: June is celebrated around the world as International Pride Month, and it’s an important time to emphasize love and acceptance. Take a look at Caribu’s Pride category to explore books and activities that focus on these themes. As many Pride events go live this weekend, #CampCaribu also will feature some of our favorite titles to read, share, and discuss with your family.
This Saturday: Take an extra hour of rest on Saturday morning with Caribu’s new ‘Sleep In Saturday’ Video Read-Aloud hour! Set up your device for the little ones to watch in the morning, and savor some bonus sleep time for yourself. Stay tuned for more announcements about this new way to give yourself a #CaribuBreak.
Summer Prize: At the end of this week, #CampCaribu will raffle a set of Caribu flip flops and a tote bag to one active camper! To be entered into the drawing, users must make seven (7) Caribu calls, one each day. You can also be entered into the competition if you post to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) about #CampCaribu in one of the following ways:
- Share your recommendation of a favorite Summer Reading book, activity, or coloring page
- Answer one of the weekly challenges (Monday Trivia or Thursday Codebreak) on Caribu’s Facebook or Instagram Page
- Share a completed #CampCaribu art activity
- Share a pic of your filled out CampCaribu Reading Log or Participation Certificate
